The term "textile leather" is used mainly when advertising low-priced furniture. Textile leather is imitation leather. Such terms are misleading for end users and the use of these terms is forbidden in some countries. Most sellers of textile leather argue that the terms "artificial leather" or "imitation leather" are also not understood as leather. However, these words have been used in the industry for a while. The term "textile leather" is not clear to many customers, but most consumers know that "artificial leather" or "imitation leather" is not genuine leather.
