Teflon leather is a leather used for leather steering wheels. Teflon leather has a Teflon finish, which is particularly resistant to sweaty hands damages. Even with solvents, this surface can hardly be dissolved. Such leather feels more plastic-like, which is not noticeable with the firm steering wheels. For this reason, they are hardly used as upholstery leather. It is also necessary to be careful in the case of colour repairs or adhesive bonding because these products do not have sufficient adhesion to Teflon leather.
