Cat Scratches on leather
Cats are notorious for damaging leather furniture with their claws. Scratches leave light marks on dark leather and dark marks on light coloured leathers. They also leave the surface feeling rough. Repair products are available to camouflage the marks but the actual damage to the surface cannot be fully repaired.

Rare damage to car leather. Mostly if the cat was accidentally locked inside.
An exception: Leather shoes. Shoes don't actually need to be hidden from cats.
