Dog chews
From www.leather-dictionary.com - The Leather Dictionary
One common by-product derived from rawhide is dog chews. Dried rawhide is parchment. It is basted, twisted, coloured and flavoured to create the products that most dog owners purchase to prevent their dog chomping on their couch or chair leg. The chew bones do not splinter like real bones and are therefore not hazardous. The chewing bones are made of cow leather and buffalo hide. Most are made of split leather and then pressed into shape.
Chew bones made of 100% bovine hide.
