What is "Artico leather - Man-made leather"?

Mercedes has found a new word creation for his imitation leather. "Artico leather - Man-made leather". Presumably, the word artificial leather is too negative. The link between marketing and understandable and comprehensible customer advice and clear norms for material declarations seems to be spanned.

This material description does not appear to be in compliance with Europe standards. The norms clearly stipulate, that the term leather can only be uesd when genuine leather is processed. The endeavor of suppliers of artificial leather is strong to describe the material as close as possible as leather.

The cleaning and care of Artico does not differ from other artificial leather.
