Nubukato-02-2015-03.jpg

Nubucato or Nubukato was a pigmented smooth leather, which had the appearance of a nubuck leather. This type of leather was only known in the furniture sector and now no longer exists.

The bright centre parts of the grain often darkened in contact areas with time. The bright peaks were the result of a crystal-like coating that gradually rubbed off with use.
