High-quality semi aniline leather is also used occasionally. However, this type is much finer, softer and has a shorter life cycle, as the higher sensitivity makes it more difficult to clean than the pigmented smooth leather. Body grease and contact areas suffer the most amount of wear on such leather and stains become more visible over time.
